Rustic accommodation with exclusive furnishings
In 2016 we totally renovated a crofter’s cottage from the 1850s in rustic style using only first-class quality building materials. We also added a modern bathroom.
The cottage has one room with a bed and a bedside table, a luggage stand and a seating area with two armchairs and a coffee table. There is also a dining area with a fold out table and kitchen chairs. The room has a whitewashed oak floor and a dark slate tile floor in the entrance hall.
Our self-catering cottage is fully equipped with plates, cutlery and saucepans. There is newly installed kitchen with more space for cooking etc, which has an induction cooker, a fan, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a micro-wave and a sink. For your convenience there are a coffee-maker and an electric kettle. Coffee and tea are included. (You can also have lunch and dinner in one of the restaurants in Vaggeryd.)
The cottage is well insulated and the indoor living area is very quiet. There are flax fibre insulation and moss between the logs and on the outside the insulation has been supplemented.
The spacious bathroom has a tiled floor and a shower cabin with mosaic and glass doors, an upper fixed spray shower head and a handheld shower head. There is also a wardrobe for your clothes.
The cottage is warm and cosy and has underfloor heating.
We offer a smoke-free environment. We regret that pets are not permitted. Wifi, bed linen, towels, and apron and cleaning are included in the price.
